Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Prof. Phd Zorana Mihajlović with Acting Director of PE "Roads of Serbia" Zoran Drobnjak and contractors, visited the works on the rehabilitation of the section of the Belgrade-Nish highway between Pojate and Razanj.
Miniser Mihajlovic said that at the moment, works are being carried out on the rehabilitation of the highway at three locations, that everyone in the department is preparing for an increase in traffic, which is expected in the coming months, and added that 4,200 workers are engaged in the largest infrastructure projects in Serbia.
At the same time, she expressed satisfaction that the road maintenance works started immediately at the beginning of the construction season.
Zoran Drobnjak, acting director of the PE "Roads of Serbia" emphasized that this year works will be carried out on the rehabilitation of about 200 km of highways, worth about five billion dinars, and that funds for road maintenance and rehabilitation were obtained thanks to the Government of Serbia and the Ministry, so that rehabilitation works will be undertaken near Subotica, Nis, Doljevac and Merosina.
On the section he visited with the Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and Minister Mihajlović, Drobnjak explained that the rehabilitation of the 13 km long highway, worth about 350 million dinars, is underway, which will be completed at the end of May, and he emphasized that the rehabilitation of that section 25 years.
