PE “Roads of Serbia” is informing that the Sector for Toll Collection will intensify work on toll stations during the upcoming Easter and Labor Day holidays in order to enable unobstructed passage of vehicles because of increased traffic on the motorways in the Republic of Serbia.

For the purpose of faster flow of vehicles, prevention of delays and more efficient execution of the delegated work, and on toll stations, all gates for toll collection and tickets distribution will be operational 24 hours a day without a minute of break, because of which the number of toll booth operators is increased and special working regime of the workers in the technical department is organized so that sudden malfunctions could be eliminated as soon as possible.

Information for the drivers to prepare exact amount of money for paying toll are placed on visible places and this information is also written in English, German and Turkish.

Toll booth operators are provided with sufficient amount of small banknotes and coins for the change.

Participants in traffic will be informed through gantry variable signs on the motorways about possible delays on toll stations, pavement condition, weather and other necessary information.

Road users can pay toll in dinars (vehicles with national and foreign license plates), in euro (vehicles with foreign license plates), by payment cards and by electronic toll collection (TAG device, without stopping).

Electronic toll collection is becoming increasingly popular, enabling vehicles to pass through the toll station without stopping.

All major toll stations in the Republic of Serbia are equipped with separate traffic and toll lanes for the users of electronic toll collection.

PE “Roads of Serbia” organizes the selling and recharging of the TAG devices from one location, through its distribution network - NIS Gasprom and OMV petrol stations, AMSS and Tehnokop offices. The devices are sold and recharged on 50 selling points along all motorway sections in Serbia, on border crossings and in bigger cities.

PE “Roads of Serbia” wishes all participants in traffic happy Easter and Labor Day holidays.
