Construction work is underway on the Sremska Rača – Kuzmin motorway section, which includes a new bridge over the Sava River.
The route, spanning approximately 18 kilometers, begins near the existing Kuzmin interchange on the Belgrade – Zagreb motorway and forms part of the E-761 Belgrade – Sarajevo motorway project.
It is designed to standard motorway specifications, accommodating speeds of up to 130 km/h.
This section, extending from Kuzmin to the existing border crossing near Sremska Rača, will further enhance transport connectivity between Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina; a particularly significant component of the project is the new bridge over the Sava River, which will serve as a vital link connecting the two nations and improving cross-border traffic.
