"Putevi Srbije" appeals to all road users to be especially careful and to adjust their speed to the road conditions, because, according to the warning of the Republic Hydrometeorological Service, on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, snowfall and the formation of snow cover are expected in lower areas, mainly in the areas south of the Sava and Danube.
According to the warning, 8 to 20 cm of wet snow is expected, locally and more in the mountains.
As stated, the cessation of snowfall is expected at the end of the day and during the night, February 17/18, 2026.
We appeal to road users to use winter tires, not to set off on the road without winter equipment and chains, to drive carefully, to obey speed limits and to adjust their speed to the road conditions.
