The Public Enterprise “Roads of Serbia” appeals to all road users to be especially careful and to adjust their speed to the conditions on the road, because, according to the warning of the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute in eastern Serbia, snowfall with the formation of snow cover is expected on December 24 and 25, 2025.
According to the announcements, in the lower areas of the Timočka Krajina and Negotinska Krajina, a snow cover of 10 to 20 cm is expected, while in the mountainous areas of the Carpathian region over 30 to 40 cm of snow is expected.
In other parts of Serbia, south of the Sava and Danube, during December 25, 2025.
In 2019, a thinner snow cover is expected, with snowfall being most intense in the morning and afternoon.
Drivers are advised to drive carefully, obey speed limits and adjust speed to road conditions.
