27.07.10. APEAL TO TRAFFIC PARTICIPANTS
Based on our previous experience, the greatest number of vehicles on Serbian highways in this year is expected for the weekend days, July 30th and 31st, and August 01st, 2010. The reason for this lies in the fact that the upcoming tourist shift, i.e. going on summer holiday and getting back from it overlaps with the weekend.
We appeal to traffic participants, primarily domestic ones, to shift their journeys before or after the weekend if possible, or to use morning hours for passing through toll stations if they must travel in order to avoid delays.
Persons in charge in the Sector for Toll Collection have prepared special operating regime for the upcoming weekend for all front toll stations in order to avoid delays in toll collection.
The example is toll station Belgrade with the highest traffic volume where, beside the existing 11 channels for toll collection, we installed equipment in additional two booths normally used for ticket issuing, which increased the traffic flow from about 2000 to 2350 vehicles per hour.

Leaflet distribution was initiated on Friday, July 16th, 2010, on front toll stations – Bubanj Potok, Šimanovci and Stara Pazova, in direction towards Belgrade.
