PE “Roads of Serbia“ is informing that slower traffic is expected on IA category state road no.1, (motorway Niš-Belgrade), from Friday, 14th August, to Sunday, 16th August, in the afternoon and evening, in the direction of Belgrade, due to remedial works on the overpass, i.e. pavement, in the interchange Umčari zone and on the section Mali Požarevac – Vrčin.
PE “Roads of Serbia“ would like to emphasize that, in the works zone, traffic is flowing in one traffic lane, and is therefore appealing to all traffic participants to be patient, considering the construction season underway and that all the planned works must be completed.
Variable message signs on the gantries on IA category state road no.1 are delivering information on the announced works on the interchanges Umčari and Požarevac.
We are appealing to all traffic participants to be particularly cautious in the works zone, adapt their speed to the road conditions, keep a safe following distance and obey the provided temporary traffic signage.
