The Sector for Investments is responsible for managing investments on the state road network, including technical preparation, contract and project management, as well as project monitoring and supervision. It implements consulting service contracts for the preparation of various guidelines and rulebooks aimed at improving the quality of works carried out on the state road network.
Investments are financed from the Republic of Serbia budget, the Company’s own funds, and loans provided by international financial institutions, such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the European Investment Bank (EIB), the World Bank, and the French Development Agency (AFD).

Belgrade Bypass
The “BELGRADE BYPASS” loan agreement was signed in 2010. The amount of the loan is EUR 40 million.
Description: Construction of the Belgrade Bypass section from Orlovača to Avala Road, with a total length of 5.4 km.
Rehabilitation of Roads and Bridges B2
The “REHABILITATION OF ROADS AND BRIDGES B2" loan agreement was signed in 2007. The amount of the loan is EUR 33 million.
Description: Rehabilitation of selected damaged road sections, together with the rehabilitation and reconstruction of 100 bridges on the I and II category state roads.
Rehabilitation of the Gazela Bridge
The “REHABILITATION OF GAZELA BRIDGE” loan was signed in 2007. The amount of the loan is EUR 33 million.
Description: The rehabilitation and remediation of the bridge “Gazela” includes the rehabilitation of the bridge structures on the left bank of the Sava River (total length 1,384 m and total area 17,712 m2), the bridge structure over the Sava River (total length 468 m and total area 12,884 m2), the bridge structures on the right bank of the Sava River (total length 2,145 m and total area 23,400 m2), and the structures at the Mostar Interchange (total length 463 m and total area 5,561 m2).
Belgrade Bypass
The “BELGRADE BYPASS” loan agreement was signed in 2007. The amount of the loan is EUR 60 million.
Description: Construction of the Belgrade Bypass, Sector A, section Batajnica - Dobanovci.
European Roads Project - B2
The “EUROPEAN ROADS PROJECT - B2" was signed in 2004. The amount of the loan is EUR 120 million.
Description: Construction of the left carriageway of the E-75 motorway, section Novi Sad – Belgrade and rehabilitation of the existing Beška Bridge.
Roads Rehabilitation Project
The “ROADS REHABILITATION PROJECT" was signed in 2002. The amount of the loan is EUR 95 million.
Description: Rehabilitation of major main road routes in the Republic of Serbia.
Emergency Transport Rehabilitation Project
The “EMERGENCY TRANSPORT REHABILITATION PROJECT” was signed in 2001. The amount of the loan is EUR 37 million.
Description: Rehabilitation of major main road routes in the Republic of Serbia.
Sustainable Road Network Improvement Project (SIRN)
The Sustainable Road Network Improvement Project “SUSTAINABLE ROAD NETWORK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT” was signed in 2025. The amount of the loan is EUR 150 million.
Description: Improvement of the existing road network (state and local) through rehabilitation, reconstruction and modernization of infrastructure.

Loan for the R-251 ring road and the rehabilitation of the E-75 motorway segment
"LOAN FOR THE R-251 RING ROAD AND THE REHABILITATION OF THE E-75 MOTORWAY SEGMENT" was signed in 2007. Total amount of the loan is 25 million EUR.
Description: Rehabilitation of the motorway segment passing through Belgrade and of the R-251 ring road around Belgrade.
Belgrade Bypass
"BELGRADE BYPASS" loan was signed in 2007. Total amount of the loan is 55 million EUR.
Description: Construction of the Sector A of the Belgrade Bypass, section Batajnica – Dobanovci.
Novi Sad – Belgrade motorway
"NOVI SAD – BELGRADE MOTORWAY" loan was signed in 2005. Total amount of the loan is 72 million EUR.
Description: Construction of the new Beška Bridge across the Danube and the rehabilitation of the existing E-75 motorway lane, section Novi Sad – Belgrade.
Roads Recovery Project
"ROADS RECOVERY PROJECT" loan was signed in 2002. Total amount of the loan is 76 million EUR.
Description: Rehabilitation of significant main road routes in Serbia.

Donation for PE "Roads of Serbia"
The European Agency for Reconstruction (EAR) has provided a donation to the "Putevi Srbije" in the amount of EUR 1 million as a part of CARDS program for the following equipment:
1. Vehicle for bridge inspection and testing
2. Mobile laboratory for asphalt
3. Stationary laboratory for testing of asphalt mixturesMr. Hristos Gofas, the Acting Head of the EAR Office in Serbia was present at the demonstration of the vehicle for bridge inspection and testing on the bridge in Ostruznica near Belgrade. The vehicle Mercedes - Benz of ACTROS type belongs to the group of the most contemporary vehicles specialized for bridge inspections and prevention activities as well as minor bridge repairs. With assistance of this vehicle, the "Putevi Srbije" will inspect more than 80 bridges in the following period.
The takeover ceremony of the donated equipment continued at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Belgrade with the signing of the protocol on business cooperation between the "Putevi Srbije" and Faculty of Civil Engineering in Belgrade followed, by which the mobile laboratory for asphalt and the stationary laboratory for testing of asphalt mixtures are consigned to the Faculty of Civil Engineering for usage.
The equipment will be used for testing asphalt mixes pursuant to the requirements of the "Putevi Srbije" and other interested entities with the approval of the "Putevi Srbije", for training the "Putevi Srbije" staff and students on undergraduate and doctoral studies on the Faculty of Civil Engineering, as well as for scientific and research work for studying characteristics of asphalt mixes.
Mobile laboratory for asphalt will make contribution to determining the quality of made asphalt mixtures and necessary corrections with pavement constructions, while stationary laboratory for testing of asphalt mixtures will increase efficiency of research because test results will be used as basis for designing future pavement structures and more efficient monitoring of the condition of pavement structures already in use.
The introduction of this equipment into the operations of the P"Putevi Srbije" will enable more efficient preparation of investments and project management, better supervision of maintenance, protection and control of the right of way, efficient maintenance of bridges and structures as well as the increase of traffic safety and more efficient environmental protection.

Widening of the existing pavement in the length of 6 km was constructed together with app. 2 km of new side walks through urban areas.
The purpose of this project was to benefit to local economic development of municipalities in the eastern Serbia by reconstruction of infrastructure, as to popularize this region for prospective investment, what will lead to increase of investments in the field of services and production, improvements in foreign trade exchange of the region, enhancement of traffic safety and growth of incomes from tourism.

U okviru priprema za realizaciju Projekta održivog unapređenja putne mreže (SIRN), dana 13.06.2025.g., potpisan je Memorandum o razumevanju između Puteva Srbije i Francuske Razvojne Agencije. Trenutno su u toku aktivnosti na pripremi zajma, koje se sprovode u saradnji sa Ministarstvom finansija.
