The presentation “International standards for asset management and their application in road industry” has been held at the PE “Roads of Serbia”.
The presentations were held by the lecturers from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, Vojislav Božanić, PhD. and Jovan Filipović, PhD.
Professor Božanić introduced the technical directors, heads of departments and other employees with the definition of assets, and also with the standards of asset management. A general overview was given and also principles, terminology of the standard ISO 55001 and important issues regarding this standard were pointed out. Directives for the application and benefits of asset management were shown.
Professor Filipović presented the application of standards from the ISO 55000 series in the road industry and pointed out their significance and benefits for the Enterprise.
