Vienna (Austria) - march 2015

On 2 March 2015, the session 2015/1 of the ASECAP Steering Committee took place in Wien. The agenda was adopted as proposed as well as the minutes of the Steering Committee’s session 2014/3 in Brussels and list of activities for 2015. List of participants is given in Annex. Agenda for 2015/1 ASECAP Steering Committee session held in Vienna was adopted as well as the proposed agenda. ASECAP President O. Halleraker thanked the ASFINAG CFO K. Schierhackl for his warm hospitality. The Steering Committee was informed by the Secretary General K. Dionelis and the COPER I chair B. de la Fuente on the developments regarding the ASECAP Concessions study and the ASECAP concessions' event hosted by the European Economic and Social Committee on 30/3 in the headquarters of EESC. 

Brussels (Belgium) - november 2014

On 17 of November 2014, the session 2014/3 of the ASECAP Steering Committee took place in Brussels. After the adoption of the agenda and the minutes of the 2014/1 Steering Committee session, ASECAP President Oyvind Halleraker welcomed the Steering Committee members. 

The main items on the agenda were: approval of the agenda and the minutes of the Steering Committee’s session 2014/2 in Athens, priority actions for 2014-2015, activity reports to the Steering Committee on the EU transport and developments, administrative & budgetary issues: budget 2015, activity reports by the ASECAP members, national developments and other. 

Madrid (Spain) - march 2014

ASECAP Road Safety Conference, held in Madrid on the 24th of March 2014 was a key opportunity for road operators to present their most innovative initiatives and the great results achieved, by "saving lives", on their road network. 

The Steering Committee accepted the SEOPAN candidacy as replacement of ASETA. Thus, SEOPAN replaces immediately ASETA in the ASECAP Structures as a full ASECAP member.

Athens (Greece) - may 2014

On 26 May 2014, the session 2014/2 of the ASECAP Steering Committee took place in Athens. The Steering Committee minutes 2014/1 were approved without comments or modifications.

Since TEO ceased to exist in Greece, the Steering Committee examined the application letter of EGNATIA ODOS together with the accompanying signed document of all the Greek motorway companies expressing their commitment to structure -in the immediate future- a Greek association. (Annex 3).

Dubrovnik (Croatia) - may 2013

The 41st edition of the annual ASECAP Study and Information Days took place in Dubrovnik, Croatia from 26 to 28 May 2013 and brought together about 200 professionals from the road infrastructure sector across Europe and beyond. On 26 May 2013, the ASECAP Governing Bodies moreover elected Mr. Jean MESQUI (ASFA) as President of the Association for the term 2013-2014, Mr. Øyvind HALLERAKER (Norvegfinans) as first Vice President and Mr. Massimo SCHINTU (AISCAT) as second Vice President; Mr. Klaus SCHIERHACKL (ASFINAG) has become ASECAP’s Immediate Past President.
