“Putevi Srbije” in cooperation with the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, with the support of the European Investment Bank (EIB), will implement a series of regional workshops intended for representatives of local self-government units within the project “Sustainable Improvement of the Road Network” (SIRN).
The goal of the training is to improve the knowledge and capacity of local self-governments in the field of road infrastructure management, traffic safety, climate resilience and investment maintenance of the road network.
Regional workshops will be organized during May and June 2026. in several cities throughout the Republic of Serbia, according to the established schedule by district.
The first in a series of trainings for representatives of local self-governments of North Banat and Central Banat districts will be held today, May 13, 2026. in Zrenjanin.
During the workshops, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the key aspects of the SIRN project, the methodology of collecting and processing data on the road network, traffic safety aspects at the local level, issues of environmental protection and climate resilience, as well as procurement and contract management procedures.
"Putevi Srbije" invites representatives of local self-governments to actively participate in the further development of a safer, more resilient and modern road infrastructure in the Republic of Serbia.
