The Department of Ecology and Social Environment is responsible for integrating the environmental, social and climate standards of international financial institutions into projects within the competence of the Sector for Investments.
The application of these standards ensures that projects are planned, prepared and implemented in accordance with the principles of sustainable development, environmental protection, social responsibility and climate risk management.
The Department provides expert support in the identification, assessment and management of the environmental and social aspects of projects, ensuring that project activities comply with the requirements of financiers as well as the relevant national and international regulations.
