The second supervisory check according to the ISO 50001 standard - Energy management system in PE “Roads of Serbia” was held on December 15, 2025, by the Certification body "SGS". This check confirmed the validity of the certificate and successfully completed the entire certification cycle.
The general conclusion of the supervisory check is that the Energy management system is well established, with no established non-conformities, with identified opportunities for further improvement. It was confirmed that the system functions efficiently in correlation with other implemented management systems in the company, as well as that the next steps relate to fine adjustments and optimization.
The certification body pointed out that the energy management system, although the youngest implemented standard, was recognized by PE "Roads of Serbia" as an important tool for managing the organization in this area. It was also confirmed that the Company has knowledge and experience in various areas, and that the application of the standard contributes to improving results and strengthening the flexibility of the system.
The holder of the energy management system is the Department for Energy Management, with the support of the Department for Integrated Management Systems and Business Support Systems.
Organizational units in whose processes the aspect of the energy management system was recognized also made a significant contribution to the successful realization of the supervisory check.
