Head of the Public Relations Department of the PE “Roads of Serbia” Ljerka Ibrović emphasized the importance of “joint synergy of all institutions in the campaign aimed at reducing traffic accidents, and therefore the number of injured and killed on the roads”. She especially emphasized that the PE “Roads of Serbia” as a socially responsible company has continuously worked on educating all traffic participants during this summer season and provided support to drivers, appealing to them to set off on the road well-rested and take a break every two hours, since fatigue is the most common cause of traffic accidents.
She added that the PE “Roads of Serbia” as the manager of state roads - through the VMS portal, i.e. variable traffic signs on the highway, informs road users about the slogan and message of the campaign – “Drive fresh - Take a break every two hours”, in Serbian and English, and appealed to all media to join this campaign and support the efforts we are making together to make the roads safer for everyone.
