“From today, with a Serbian tag you can travel on highways through the Republic of Croatia and vice versa. Our Toll4All system also works in the countries of the European Union,” said Zoran Drobnjak, acting director of PE “Roads of Serbia”.
Director Drobnjak today at the toll station “Lipovac” in Croatia, was the first to test the integrated system of toll collection between Serbia and Croatia and reminded of the importance and correctness of the decision that the Public Enterprise “Roads of Serbia” should start the project of integration of toll collection with surrounding countries.
Darko Savić, executive director of the Sector for toll collection of the PE “Roads of Serbia” pointed out the benefits that the system offers: “There is no more waiting at toll stations, currency exchange and waiting, now, with one tag you can travel through the four countries of the region: Serbia, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Croatia.”
"The system is still expanding, we are in the final phase of integrating the system with Republika Srpska, and we expect to establish the system with Greece this year, which would be very significant considering the large number of citizens who travel to this country during the summer season," concluded Savić.
Ivan Ribičić, director of the Toll Collection Department of “Croatian Highways” said that the use of the Croatian TAG in Serbia will greatly facilitate the travel of a large number of passengers between the two countries.
"We recognized the needs of our drivers and worked hard in the previous period so that this integration was successfully implemented. From today, driving through Croatia and Serbia will be much simpler and more comfortable," said Ribičić.
We remind you that the Toll4All system started working in July 2023, when integrated toll collection with North Macedonia was established, while as of today Croatia is the fourth country to join our initiative.
