Successful Beginning of Another IMS Certification Cycle

With the successful certification check of integrated management systems according to ISO 9001 - quality management system and 45001 - occupational health and safety management system in JP "Roads of Serbia", a new three-year certification cycle began.

The verification of the management system was carried out by the certification body MSC (Management Systems Certification d.o.o.) from Belgrade, whose verifiers once again confirmed the high level of application of the requirements of both standards in business processes, as well as the entire operation of the company...

 

The PE “Roads of Serbia” Winner of the National Award for Business Excellence - Quality Oscar 2020, in the Public Sector Category as the Excellence Champion

On this year’s contest of the National Award for Business Excellence – “Quality Oscar”, the PE “Roads of Serbia” has won the highest reward „Champion of the Business Excellence“. In overall placement, the PE „Roads of Serbia“  won more than 750 points in course of verification conducted on October 16, 2020.

The PE “Roads of Serbia” is the first big enterprise from the public sector which won an award that has added significance, because it was gained in complex circumstances caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

 
PE “Roads of Serbia” among the best in competition for the “Quality Oscar”

Representatives of the Foundation for Quality Culture and Excellence checked and assessed integrated management systems of the PE “Roads of Serbia” on Friday, 16th October 2020, in regards to the Enterprise’s application for manifestation National Prize for Business Excellence – “Quality Oscar”.

Executive directors of the sectors and their associates have successfully presented business processes and results of the work undertaken according to nine defined criteria: Leadership, Strategy, Potential of the Organization, Processes and Technologies, Market and Users, Operating Results, Satisfaction of the Employees, Satisfaction of the Users and Social Responsibility.

 

International standards for asset management and their application in road industry

The presentation “International standards for asset management and their application in road industry” has been held at the PE “Roads of Serbia”.

The presentations were held by the lecturers from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, Vojislav Božanić, PhD. and Jovan Filipović, PhD.

 

Successful supervisory check of established Integrated Management Systems of PE „Roads of Serbia“

Another successful supervisory check of established Integrated Management Systems of the PE „Roads of Serbia“ was performed on 23 June 2020.

This supervisory check conducted by the certified body StandCert comprised management, all sectors and departments of the Enterprise.

 

02.06.20. Presentation of Energy Management System in PE “Roads of Serbia”

A lecture and training of employees on the energy management system have been held in the PE “Roads of Serbia” as part of the preparation for the certification and implementation of the Energy Management System, as one of the main components of socially responsible business operation.

Energy management will, through monitoring and assessment of energy usage and consumption and implementation of energy efficiency measures, provide saving of energy and resources, enable long-term protection of environment and better economic sustainability of working processes.

 

19.09.19. Implemented recertification audit of ISO 9001:2015 as well as transition audit of ISO 45001

In June 2019, Public Enterprise “Roads of Serbia” successfully implemented the second recertification audit of integrated management systems pursuant to the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard for Quality Management System as well as the transition audit pursuant to the requirements of ISO 45001:2018 for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. Auditors from the Stand Cert from Belgrade performed the audit, with which they confirmed that the procedures at the Public Enterprise “Roads of Serbia” were harmonized with the requirements of both standards as well as harmonized with the requirements of the new standard ISO 45001.

 

During the audit, all participants showed exceptional dedication regarding the integrated management systems in their own fields of operation, which was also the confirmation of continuity of the harmonization of the management system as a unity.

The level of development of integrated management systems in the Quality Department within the Sector for Traffic Control Information Systems has created the ground for the establishment and further development of other management systems relevant for the realization of business tasks of the PE “Roads of Serbia”.

 

02.07.18. Realized transitional and other supervision check in accordance with ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001

The Public Enterprise “Roads of Serbia” successfully realized transitional and other supervision check of Integrated Management Systems according to ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management System and OHSAS 18001:2008 for Occupational Health and Safety Management System on 19 and 20 June 2018. The Enterprise has hereby exercised full compliance with the new version of ISO 9001:2015 standard. Evaluators of certification body MSC (Management Systems Certification) from Belgrade performed a check and confirmed a high level of conformity of business processes of the PE „Roads of Serbia“ with requirements of both standards, emphasizing that the level of application of the basic standards is quite above public enterprises that implemented ISO 9001:2015.

Everyone involved in a checking procedure showed outstanding commitment in their field of work on Integrated Management Systems, and readiness to advance their business processes through continuous improvements. The exceptionally installed Integrated Management System, which serves for managing processes within business activities of Integrated Management Systems of the Quality Department of the Sector for Traffic Management Information Systems has satisfied requirements of both standards, and it is installed in such a manner that it enables future development and integration of new standards.
