PE “Roads of Serbia” is appealing to all traffic participants to be particularly cautious during driving and adapt their speed to the road conditions, because, according to the warning issued by the Republic Hydrometeorological Service of Serbia, today, during the morning of 06.02.2020, new 5 to 10 cm of snow are expected in the mountainous regions of southwestern, southern and southeastern Serbia, and somewhere even more.
A strong, gale-force northwesterly wind will create conditions for the formation of snow drifts, but it will gradually calm down in the afternoon.
Maintenance crews are on site and ready to act if necessary.
We advise drivers to use winter tyres, obey speed limits and adapt their speed to the winter road conditions.
