PE “Roads of Serbia” is informing that slower traffic flow is expected from Friday, 21st August until Sunday, 23rd August, 2020, throughout the afternoon and the evening, on IA category state road no.1 (motorway Niš-Belgrade), in the direction of Belgrade, due to remedial works on the overpass, i.e. the pavement, in the zone of the interchange Umčari and on the section Mali Požarevac – Vrčin.
PE “Roads of Serbia” would like to emphasize that, in the works zone, traffic is flowing in two traffic lanes in each direction and is therefore appealing to all traffic participants to be patient, considering the construction season underway and that all the planned works need to be completed.
Variable message signs on the gantries on IA category state road no. 1 are delivering information on the announced works on the interchanges Umčari and Požarevac.
We are appealing to traffic participants to be particularly cautious in the works zone, adapt their speed to the road conditions, keep a safe distance and obey the provided temporary traffic signage.
