In May 2026, Putevi Srbije successfully conducted the first certification check of the road traffic safety management system in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 39001 standard.
After a detailed check of organizational processes, documentation and work results, the evaluators of the certification body PCC CERT Balkan from Belgrade confirmed that the Road Traffic Safety Management System in the Putevi Srbije is fully compliant with the requirements of the ISO 39001 standard.
During the inspection, representatives of the Department for Traffic Safety and the Department for Integrated Management Systems and Business Support Systems presented processes from their scope of work, achieved results and activities that are carried out in order to improve road traffic safety on the national road network. Special attention was paid to planning processes, risk management, monitoring of traffic safety indicators, realization of legal obligations and continuous improvement of the system.
Successful recertification confirms the commitment of Putevi Srbije to the systemic improvement of road traffic safety and is recognition for the work, expertise and engagement of employees who participate in the development and improvement of the road traffic safety system. At the same time, it is an incentive to continue activities aimed at reducing the risk of traffic accidents, improving the safety of all traffic participants and achieving a higher level of safety on the national road network of the Republic of Serbia.
