"Putevi Srbije" appeals to all road users to be especially careful and to adjust their speed to the road conditions, because, according to the warning of the Republic Hydrometeorological Service, in the lower regions of Timočka and Negotinska Krajina by tomorrow morning, February 11, 2026, a snow cover of 5 to 15 cm is expected, and in the mountains locally more with ice. In other regions of Serbia, in the same period, a smaller snow cover may temporarily form.
Also, according to the warning of the RHMS, in the morning, evening and night hours in the area of Pomoravlje and Homolje, today, February 10, 2026, locally, rain is expected that will freeze on the ground.
According to the warning, in the south of Banat and in the lower Danube region, today, February 10, 2026, the gusts of the košava will reach 70 to 100 km/h, and in the Belgrade area around 50 km/h. On Wednesday and Thursday, February 11 and 12, 2026, the košava will continue to blow with a slightly reduced intensity (in the south of Banat and in the lower Danube region with gusts of 60 to 85 km/h, and in Belgrade around 40 km/h). The košava is expected to end on Friday, February 13, 2026.
We appeal to road users to use winter tires, not to set off on the road without winter equipment and chains, to drive carefully, to obey speed limits and to adjust their speed to road conditions.
