PE “Roads of Serbia” appeals to all road users to be especially careful and to adjust their speed to road conditions, because, according to the warning of the Republic Hydro-meteorological Service, in western, southwestern and eastern Serbia on Sunday, January 4th, 2026 year, as well as during the night, between January 4th and 5th, 2026, the formation of a snow cover with an average height of 10 to 20 cm is expected, while in the mountainous areas of western and southwestern Serbia, higher snow levels are expected locally.
Also, on Sunday, January 4th, 2026. in the morning and evening hours, as well as on Monday, January, 5th, 2026. during the day, a local occurrence of rain that will freeze on the ground is forecasted, mainly in the areas south of the Sava and Danube rivers.
Drivers are advised to drive carefully, obey speed limits and adjust speed to road conditions.
