Phase 1 of the Northern bypass around Kragujevac, 5 kilometers long, from the Jovanovac interchange to the Petrovac interchange, today, September 20, 2026, was released into traffic.
As part of Phase 1, 2 interchanges - Jovanovac and Petrovac, 3 underpasses - tunnel constructions, 1 bridge, as well as 2 diversions of municipal roads in the populated areas of Jovanovac and Petrovac were built.
Work on the remaining part of the route, that is, on Phases 2 and 3, continues with intense dynamics.
With the launch of Phase 1, a significant step has been taken towards the completion of the Northern Ring Road, which will contribute to safer and more efficient traffic and relieve congestion in the city area.
