[a link="/index.php/en/news-company/06-02-26-obavezni-tag-uredjaji-za-kamione-od-1-aprila-2026-g-2"]From April 1, 2026, TAG devices are mandatory for Category IV vehicles[/a]

Roads of Serbia informs the public that, in accordance with the Law on Charges for the Use of Public Goods, the use of TAG devices for vehicles of category IV - cargo vehicles, starting from January 1, 2026, is mandatory.

In order to ensure a transitional period and technical support for all users, Roads of Serbia decided to postpone the implementation of legal provisions until April 1, 2026.

Mandatory use of TAG devices for category IV vehicles was introduced in order to increase traffic flow, reduce crowding at toll stations, improve safety and efficiency in the electronic toll collection system (ETC), as well as the planned introduction of toll collection on lower-order roads for heavy goods vehicles.

The new system will function without toll stations - a free flow system, while TAG devices will be compatible with the existing system. Recognizing the economic and operational advantages of electronic toll collection (ETC), domestic carriers pay using TAG devices in as much as 85% of their highway usage.

Roads of Serbia invites all truck carriers to introduce TAG devices in their vehicles as soon as possible and thereby ensure faster, simpler and safer passage through toll stations.

You can get detailed information about purchasing or reconfiguring a TAG device by calling the free phone number 0800 111 004 - Customer Center (24/7) or via the link: https://toll4all.com/rs#mesta
