PE "Roads of Serbia" informs the public that all state roads of the first and second order in the Republic of Serbia, approaches to border crossings as well as mountain centers are passable for traffic on the entire territory of Serbia.

The snow is wet on some locations, up to 5 cm high and traffic is slower on the territories of Bačka, Belgrade, Čačak, Ivanjica, Kolubara, Kosova, Kragujevac, Kruševac, Mačva, Niš, Novi Pazar, Novi Sad, Pančevo, Požarevac, Požega, Subotica, Užice, Valjevo, Vranje, Zaječar and Zrenjanin.

There is a ban on tow trucks in the territories of Bačka, Valjevo, Užice, Požega, Novi Pazar, Kruševac, Ivanjica, Zaječar.

Currently, the fourth level of preparedness is in effect - 2324 road workers, 815 road vehicles and trucks and 331 snow clearing machines are on the ground throughout Serbia.

All available machinery and personnel are on the ground 24 hours a day and intervene to ensure the safe flow of traffic.

We have sufficient quantities of salt, stone aggregate and paddy.

Since the beginning of winter, 35,800 tons of salt have been spent on main roads, 14,800 tons for the motorways only and 21,000 tons on other roads.

Due to the announced low temperatures, there is a possibility of occasional ice on the roads, especially on sections that extend along river courses, valleys, gorges, as well as on road facilities.

PE "Roads of Serbia" appeals to drivers that, due to wet roads and the appearance of low temperatures, possible ice and poor visibility on certain sections, they should not go on the road without immediate need, and if they do, they must have winter equipment and chains in hilly and mountainous terrain.

JP "Roads of Serbia" appeals to all road users to adapt their driving to road conditions, as well as not to overtake winter maintenance vehicles, because their irresponsible behavior can cause a traffic accident.
