Waste management plan for PE “Roads of Serbia” facilities

II stage

Within II stage of the development of the project “Waste Management Plan for PE “Roads of Serbia” Facilities with Cost Benefit Analysis”, on 22nd and 23rd August 2019 measuring devices with waste collection containers and an explanation on the type of collected waste were installed on three locations.

The data on the change of the weight of the generated waste is collected from the measuring devices monitored online.

The measuring devices with the waste collection containers were installed on the following locations:

  1. The supervision centre “Gazela”, Belgrade

  2. Toll station “Šimanovci”

  3. Toll station “Beograd”

 The forthcoming activities are:
- monitoring the change in the waste quantity in the process of container filling,
- sorting out and measuring the quantities of the generated waste by the type
- analysis of the collected data

Access to data from the measuring devices at the "Niš" and "Preševo" toll stations

In the framework of the project "Studies on the introduction of renewable energy sources in the facilities of PE "Roads of Serbia" with cost - benefit analysis, in addition to monitoring the electro-energetic parameters, external and internal temperature monitoring in the facilities is also carried out, as well as air quality parameters PM10 and PM2.5.

PM10 is the fraction of suspended particulate matter passing through the filter whose requirements are set out in SRPS EN12341, and PM2.5 is the fraction of suspended particulate matter passing through the filter whose requirements are set out in SRPS EN14907.

Both parameters are used to determine the impact of air quality on human health, representing a mixture of smoke, soot, dust and acid particles with heavy metals such as arsenic, cadmium, mercury and nickel, and are produced by the combustion of solid and liquid fuels as a combined effect of industry, traffic and the heating process, and their impact is more pronounced in urban environments.

The data from the "Trupale" and "Preševo" toll stations can be accessed via the following links:

Notification on the conducted measurement of electric power parameters for three facilities of PE “Roads of Serbia”

SUBJECT: Notification on the installation of devices for on-line measurement of the time diagram for the consumption of active, reactive energy and temperature in characteristic facilities of the PE “Roads of Serbia”.

In accordance with the Contract no. VIII 454-912 from 25.06.2019, signed on the basis of Public procurement no.20/2019 for the requirements of creating the Program of Planned Maintenance of PERS Facilities, we installed the devices for on-line measurement of time diagram for the consumption of active, reactive energy and temperature in characteristic facilities of three PE “Roads of Serbia” tolling stations as follows:

  • Tolling station “Inđija“
  • Tolling station “Stara Pazova“
  • Tolling station “Šimanovci“

The device installation lasted cca30 minutes each, per facility, without turning off the electric power, i.e. without bringing the tolling to a halt.

The devices are connected via Internet, using the “cloud” system so that one is able to observe the measurement at any location at any time, as well as perceive the time diagrams: P = f(t) electric energy consumption, Q= f(t) reactive energy consumption and temperature diagram T = f(t).

For monitoring the stated functions one needs to type in the following on their computer or mobile phone:
