The Department for Electrical Installations Maintenance is engaged in designing the plans for maintenance of electrical installations on the state roads of I and II category, public lightning and electricity substations, as well as supervision of performance of works according to adopted plan and program. It cooperates with representatives of amenable electricity distribution companies, local governments and MIA, in order to maintain electrical installations in accordance with current legislation. The Department makes plans and performs realization of works related to construction of electrical installations of public lightning on the state roads of I and II category in order to improve safety of traffic participants.

The Department for Technical Operations is engaged in preparation of program designs related to maintenance of the state roads of I and II category and it monitors their implementation. It cooperates with inspection, local self-government and MIA`s representatives. The Department receives, processes and analyses data from other Departments within the Sector. The reports for internal necessaries and necessaries of the Government and government and public authorities are being prepared within the Department, as well as receiving, analysis, processing and archiving of all requirements related to road maintenance and preservation and addressed by the citizens, associations, ministries and local self-governments. Proposals are being prepared and the Department replies to all received requests.

Department for Technical Operations consists of three sections:

• Road Maintenance Section
• Road Rehabilitation (Periodic and Capital Maintenance) and Emergency Maintenance Section
• Traffic Safety and Traffic Management Section
