SECTION OF THE MORAVIAN CORRIDOR FROM VRNJAČKA BANJA TO VRBA NEAR KRALJEVO OPENED

In the presence of the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Aleksandra Sofronijević, Minister of Defense Bratislav Gašić, Ambassador of Great Britain to Serbia Edward Ferguson and Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Belgrade Ilhan Saygili, Acting Director of the Public Company "Roads of Serbia" Zoran Drobnjak and acting director of the company "Corridors of Srbia" Ltd. Aleksandar Antić, representatives of the contractor and local government, on December 24, 2025  a new section of the E-761 motorway, the Moravian Corridor,  13.78 km long, from the "Vrnjačka Banja" interchange to the "Vrba" interchange near Kraljevo, was ceremonially opened.

The new section of the highway connecting Pojate and Preljina and Vrnjačka Banja with Kraljevo is a part of a 112.4 km long route that passes through the Rasina, Raška and Moravian districts.

The highway is 30 meters wide, making it wider than other highways in Serbia. It is designed for a speed of 130 km/h.

The Moravian Corridor is also the first digital corridor in Serbia.

Traffic on the newly built section will be opened on Thursday, December 25, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. and toll collection for this section of the motorway starts on January 14, 2026.
