Works on one of the most important infrastructure projects, construction of section of the motorway E-763, ”Miloš Veliki”, from Preljina to Požega, are in full swing; they are executed on daily basis and are progressing according to plan.

The works are carried out in a full motorway profile in the length of 30.96 km, from Preljina via Prijevor, Pakovraće and Lučani to Požega.

Topographic and geomorphologic conditions demand displacement of the existing technical infrastructure and construction of tunnels and numerous bridges on as much as a third of the road alignment.

There are ongoing works on three tunnels, 35 bridges of a total length of 5196 m, 4 overpasses of an overall length of 592 m, and comprise construction of 1,912,000 m3 of embankments and two complete traffic interchanges that will enable relief of the existing bypass route around Čačak.

Tunnels “Laz“ and “Munjino Brdo“, 2.8km long, with two tunnel tubes for each direction, will be the longest tunnels in Serbia.

The motorway ”Miloš Veliki” will be connected with the future motorway E-761 and section Pojate – Preljina on the interchange Preljina, and thus it will become connected with the motorway E-75. On the motorway „Miloš Veliki“ at Požega, motorways towards Montenegro and Kotroman on the border with Bosnia nad Herzegovina will be splitted.
