ROADS OF SERBIA: STARA PAZOVA AS PRIORITY IN TOLL PLAZA EXPANSION PLAN

The PE „Roads of Serbia“ is informing the public that in days of increased traffic intensity during summer season occasional delays may be expected at toll station Stara Pazova.

All channels for toll collection and distribution of cards are operational 24 hours a day, without break, and for this purpose, the number of toll operators and people employed on this toll station, and all the others as well, is increased.

The current capacity of the toll station meets no longer the needs of traffic flow, which constantly increases year after year.

The PE „Roads of Serbia“ plans to expand 26 toll plazas which are designed and constructed about thirty years ago when traffic volume was significantly lower, and when the electronic toll collection didn't exist. These expansions will contribute to increase of passing capacity of toll stations and number of channels intended for electronic toll collection, and thus solve a problem of occasional delays.

The toll station Stara Pazova has been anticipated as a priority in the stated plan.

The PE „Roads of Serbia“ will in the periods of greatest traffic intensity at toll station Stara Pazova, and with the aim to enable traffic participants to wait as short as possible, activate alternative (manual) operation mode.

We are inviting all traffic participants to get informed on traffic conditions before starting their journey. This information is available at the webpage of the PE „Roads of Serbia“ www.putevi-srbije.rs, mobile phone application – Roads of Serbia (adjusted to IOS and Android platforms), and through the media that regularly obtain and publish announcements on road conditions, and in case the participants are already on the road, we are appealing to them to use short service information on signs posted on gantries along every road section.
