MINISTER MOMIROVIĆ: DIRECTOR EVERYONE IN THE BUSINESS HAS LEARNED A LOT FROM

Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Tomislav Momirović, together with the Acting Director of the PE “Roads of Serbia”, Zoran Drobnjak, Assistant Director Slavoljub Tubić, Executive Director of the Sector for Strategy, Design and Development, Miodrag Poledica and the Mayor of Čačak, Milun Todorović, visited today works on  the tunnel Trbušani and the paving of a 200 metres long road section at Preljina, on the route of the motorway “Miloš Veliki”.  

On this occasion, Minister Momirović pointed out the achievement of the Acting Director Drobnjak concerning the construction of the section Preljina – Požega. “It is an honour to work with director Drobnjak, a man of great experience and knowledge, but also a man of cheerful disposition and a big-hearted one. There isn’t a minister who worked in this field without learning a lot from him when it comes to infrastructure. He contributed a lot to the construction of the motorway “Miloš Veliki”, especially when it comes to the part around Čačak, where, using his engineering and organizational skills, he helped the project move up“, the Minister said.  

Milun Todorović, the Mayor of Čačak, has emphasized that the citizens shall live to see the previous generations’ dream of a motorway from Čačak to Belgrade come true. 

Miodrag Poledica has stressed that all works have been intensified and that the paving of test sections has commenced on the first and most important sub-section from Preljina to the future interchange Pakovraće, where the tunnel Trbušani, in the length of 280 metres, several important bridges and an interchange in Pakovraće, where the future toll station will be, are located.

During the visit, it was pointed out that the local roads, damaged after the passing of trucks and heavy machinery for the requierements of the motorway “Miloš Veliki“ construction, will be reconstructed.
