PE “Roads of Serbia” is informing that all I and II category state roads in the Republic of Serbia, access roads to border crossings and mountain resorts are passable for traffic and traffic is flowing normally on the entire territory of Serbia.
1,000 road workers and over 600 trucks and snow plough machines across Serbia is in the field 24 hours a day, ready to intervene any minute for the purpose of safe traffic flow.
On certain I and II category state roads on the territories of Užice, Valjevo, Kraljevo, Jošanička Banja, Kopaonik, Šabac, Loznica...traffic closure for heavy vehicles is in effect, due to heavy snowfall.
Due to the announced low temperatures, there is a possibility of black ice formation on some locations on roads, especially on the sections along rivers, valleys and on road structures as well.
PE “Roads of Serbia” is appealing to drivers not to travel without necessity due to wet carriageways and low temperatures, possible black ice and low visibility on certain sections, and if they do, they must have winter equipment and chains in hilly and mountainous areas and also obey the speed limits and adapt their speed to the road conditions.
