At the beginning of the year, the construction of a steel structure of the bridge was completed, and there are ongoing works on access concrete structures on both banks of the Sava River.

The section of the motorway Kuzmin – Sremska Rača, with a total length of 18 km, is a part of the Belgrade – Sarajevo E-761 motorway construction project, while the bridge over the Sava River is a direct connection of two states with full motorway profile.

The beginning of a part of the motorway route is near the existing junction grade separation Kuzmin and stretches north-south along the settlements Kuzmin and Bosut and all the way to Sremska Rača where it ends with the bridge over the Sava River.

The bridge consists of concrete access structures on the left and right banks and concrete structure that bridges the Sava riverbed.

The total length of the bridge is 1321m (left structure), i.e. 1312 m (right structure).
