APPEAL OF THE PUBLIC ENTERPRISE ROADS OF SERBIA

The PE Roads of Serbia appeals to all traffic participants to be especially cautious when driving and adapt their speed to the road conditions, since the Republic Hydrometeorological Service of Serbia warns that tonight, on the night of 13th to 14th December 2022, in the territory of southwestern, south and southeastern Serbia, snowfall of weak to moderate intensity may be expected, as well as formation/increase of snow cover by about 5 cm in lower regions and 10 cm in higher regions.

In addition, tomorrow morning, 14th December 2022, local rain freezing on the ground may be expected in flat-bottomed basins in the south of Serbia.

According to the warning of the Republic Hydrometeorological Service of Serbia, tomorrow night, 14th December 2022, as well as on the night of 14th to 15th December 2022, in the territory of eastern Serbia (Timok and Negotin Valleys, Homolje and surrounding mountains), mixed precipitation – freezing rain and snow – may be expected, along with formation of high snow cover – from 5 cm in lower regions to 15 cm in higher regions of eastern Serbia, and locally even more.

Teams of road workers are in the field, ready to act when necessary.

Drivers are advised to use winter tires, obey speed limits and adapt their speed to the road conditions.
