On 27th December 2022, PE “Roads of Serbia”, within the socially responsible business activities, environmental protection and greenery conservation, together with the public utility company “Belgrade Greenery“, undertook the action of planting conifers – cedar trees, in the vicinity of the business premises by the bridge Gazela, in Brodarska street in Belgrade.
Following the assessment of environmental conditions and the position of the business premises, it was decided that conifers should be planted to create a functional protective buffer between the heavy traffic and the park.
PE “Roads of Serbia” confirms with this action that nurturing responsibilities towards the environment is a part of a comprehensive business concept regularly incorporated by ecologically aware companies into their activities, not just to improve their reputation or the employees’ team spirit, but to raise the general awareness on the necessity of environmental protection.
