Rehabilitation Works on Old Ostružnica Bridge at Belgrade Bypass

Reconstruction works on the structure of the old Ostružnica bridge over the Sava at the Belgrade bypass are continuing with the contracted intensity, and the finishing works on the rehabilitation of the upstream Bridge no.8 structure are in progress.   

Installation of AB 11 and SMA asphalt layers on the left access structure is carried out for a length of 591m, while the paving of the (right) access structures is carried out from the direction of Ostružnica.

At the same time, a protective crash barrier from the direction of Surčin is being installed, as well as the anti-skid (layer against skidding) coating of the pedestrian paths. Repair and maintenance of the bridge bearing, installation of expansion joints, and the completion of works on the anticorrosive protection of the steel structure are in progress.

The coating of the steel carriageway surface with the MMA waterproofing layer is being finished, and the final preparations for the paving of the bridge steel structure are underway.
