The works on rehabilitation of I B Category state road No. 29, on 9 km long section Sjenica (Karajukića bunari) – Sušica, are completed.
The heavy maintenance (rehabilitation) works commenced on September 22, 2021, and were scheduled to be completed by November 22, 2022. The works were carried out by the company “Novi Pazar-put“ doo.
Within the rehabilitation, the following works were performed: preparatory works, earth works, works on road structure. In addition, the rehabilitation of the bridge over Brnjička River in the length of 10 m was also carried out. New signage and road equipment were placed.
The set of measures to increase safety of pupils in the zone of school in the settlement Štavalj were particularly implemented.
Upon rehabilitation, the traffic flow on the entire section has been significantly accelerated and safety of all traffic participants has been improved.
The works are executed as a part of the Road Safety and Rehabilitation Project financed from the funds of the European Investment Bank and the budget of the Republic of Serbia.
