Works on Road over Radan Mountain Have Commenced

The Prime Minister of Serbia, Ms. Ana Brnabić, and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, Ms. Tatjana Matić, together with the representatives of the PE Roads of Serbia, visited today, April 20, 2022, the municipality of Kuršumlija and the works on the road section Prolom Banja - Begovića grob.

Prime Minister Brnabić emphasized that this road will contribute to the infrastructure connection of all "pearls of tourism" in this part of Serbia. In addition, as she stated, when this road is completed, it will reduce the traveling by three times, and connect two districts - Jablanica and Toplica.

Minister Matić pointed out that the construction of a road across Radan mountain will enable the complete flourishing of tourism potential.

Under the scheduled reconstruction of II A Category state road No. 229, Prolom Banja (Spa) - Caričin grad, 26 km long, the first phase will include the construction of a 5,5 km long road from Begovića grob to Prolom Banja (Spa).

The road across Radan mountain to Prolom Banja (Spa), via Begovića groba to Gajtanska vrata, will connect Jablanica and Toplica districts, and Caričin grad, Sijarinska Banja (Spa), Đavolja varoš, Krušumlijska and Lukovska Banja (Spas) and archeological site Pločnik as well.
