“Roads of Serbia“ Representatives Hold Initial Meeting with Directors of PE “Republic of Srpska Motorways“ and PE “Motorways of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina“

Today, 27th October 2022, at the PE “Roads of Serbia“ premises, an initial meeting was held between the representatives of PE “Roads of Serbia“, PE“Republic of Srpska Motorways“ and PE “Motorways of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina“.      

On behalf of PE“Roads of Serbia“, the meeting was attended by Miodrag Poledica, Assistant Director, Milenko Caković, Executive Director of the Sector for Toll Collection, and Nenad Grubić, Assistant Executive Director, whereas PE “Republic of Srpska Motorways“ was represented by Slobodan Stanarević, Acting Director, and Elmedin Voloder, director of PC“ Motorways of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina“.  

The topic of the meeting was connecting the electronic toll collection (ETC) systems in Serbia, the Republic of Srpska, and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina within the initiative “Open Balkan”.

It has been agreed to hold a meeting between the three companies’ technical teams in the next few weeks regarding the connection of the ETC systems, after which an agreement concerning the implementation of joint TAG devices within the initiative “Open Balkan“ would be signed by the companies.

Up to now, agreements have been made between the Republic of Serbia, the Republic of North Macedonia, and the Republic of Albania regarding establishing a unique electronic toll collection system within the initiative “Open Balkan”.
